The Officers-In-Charge and the Board of the Gregory B. Davis Foundation would like to thank all those who
supported the recent 2009 Valentine’s Gala on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at the Kirkwood Adams Community Center
in Roanoke Rapids, NC.
This year’s Gala featured the awesome jazz sounds of Marcus Johnson (www.marcusjohnsonmusic.com) and our own Board
Member, Lois Deloatch, served as Mistress of Ceremonies (www.loisdeloatch.com) We will be bringing Marcus Johnson and his
Band back to Roanoke Rapids for a repeat performance so be on the lookout for upcoming announcements.
During this year’s Gala, we honored five people who have demonstrated ongoing commitment and support to GBDF and to our mission of
enhancing the lives of underserved youth and their families. These recipients are pictured left to right below: Dennis Leuter, Roanoke
